One of the country’s biggest trade printers CMYKhub has launched its online print management (OPM) software at PacPrint 2013. Material handling specialist Kockums has come to PacPrint to show its lifting technology designed to make handling easier and safer. Specialists in packaging machines and materials, Venus Packaging, is showing a range of solutions at PacPrint, looking to provide businesses with alternatives. Social Printing has attended PacPrint as an exhibitor since 1980 and this small Australian owned and operated company continues to support the event. RD XMedia is at PacPrint, demonstrating its media asset management solutions for print and packaging companies. Software company Printpoint has showcased its solutions to small and medium sized businesses at PacPrint, looking to provide affordable software to the Australian and New Zealand market. The addition of a quick change die cassette on a Mark Andy press has caused a stir on the Aldus Engineering booth this week at PacPrint. AGS, Australian Graphic Services, is showing the Glunz & Jenzen plate writer at PacPrint and promoting Lasermax digital finishing solutions. Paper Handling Equipment (PHE) has print finishing and booklet making on display at PacPrint with the DFC digital flexo cut showcased. Lifhart has brought to PacPrint its Draabe air humidification system for printing businesses to reduce waste and become more productive. Lamination Systems is introducing the Q Lam range of laminators to the Australian market at PacPrint 2013. GMS Pacific is showcasing its MIS software the EyeC which offers web to print portals, estimating and quoting aimed at signage, display, commercial and label businesses. Esko has pre-production software the i-cut Suite aimed at large format printers sign and display workflow and digital finishing systems and the Kongsberg XP Series for digital finishing. Centrum Printing has ordered a new six-colour plus coater size KBA 162 in its biggest ever investment as its makes a move into packaging and POS print The Tennyson Group will install the first Kodak NexPress in Queensland, ordering the five unit colour digital printer from Konica Minolta for its Shout Graphics digital division at PacPrint. Ricoh has launched iits first colour digital printers in the light production space, with the Pro C5110S and Ricoh Pro C5100S. One of the highlights of the show is the Fujifilm JetPress 540W high speed inkjet web, shown here for the first time and now available to buy. With a high speed inkjet web, a ultra fast inkjet poster printer, a new entry level digital press, new integrated finishing for its iGen150 and new software Fuji Xerox had one of the busiest stands at the show. US-based Wausau Coated has come to its first PacPrint, looking to expand its global operation through Australia and New Zealand, offering pressure sensitive adhesives, especially for HP Indigo. |
