Australian’s best read print magazine, Australian Printer has consolidated its strong position signing up two more of the world’s pre-eminent graphic arts commentators, Laurel Brunner and Cary Sherburne to its winning editorial team
THE new writers will further boost the undisputed number one position of Australian Printer in the market alongside other globally-respected writers such as Andrew Tribute, Chris Heric and Rod Hayes on the AP editorial team led by editor-in-chief, Brian Moore and editor, Wayne Robinson who, between the two of them have over 50 years’ experience in the printing and graphic communications industry.
Laurel Brunner, managing director of global print technology analysts, Digital Dots, will be writing analytical articles for Australian Printer each month. Brunner’s features will take on an indepth and independent analysis of technology.
Brunner has been analysing print technology for more than 20 years, and is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading print technology analysts.
Digital Dots is an independent graphic arts research company established in 1999. The company provides exclusive market research, testing and evaluation services for prepress and publishing applications.

Cary Sherburne is one of its primary writers. Sherburne has led award-winning sales, marketing and communications campaigns for companies including Xerox, Ikon Office Solutions, Bitstream Inc, and Indigo North America.
She is a recognised speaker and author, skilled at building brand awareness and internal/external communications effectiveness. Sherburne was also a director at InfoTrends, an internationally known firm specialising in market research and strategic consulting for the digital document and print on demand industry, before joining Ikon, where she launched and managed the company’s Document Outsourcing Consulting Service.
In addition to the additional international talent recruited by AP, the magazine has beefed up its local editorial team, with the addition of Carlos Martinez as news reporter. Martinez has a strong background in news reporting.
He trained at the respected Macleay College, then spent time on a Rural Press country newspaper, before working for an environmental title. Martinez has a brief to generate as much local Australian news as possible for AP and for the i-grafix.com website.
