Kodak has announced the sale of a fifth Kodak Prosper Press to Toppan Forms, which sees the printing giant becoming the world’s largest Kodak Prosper user.
Akira Kameyama, senior managing director and general manager of Toppan Forms, says, “Our existing presses have been running at full production, and the addition of a fifth Kodak Prosper Press will enable us to continue our path of steady growth and best serve our customers across multiple markets.
Toppan Forms will use the new Kodak Prosper 6000C Press for variable textbook and business mail printing. “This investment testifies our confidence in Kodak Stream Inkjet Technology and the overwhelming printing productivity it delivers.”
Philip Cullimore, president of Kodak’s Enterprise Inkjet Systems Division, says, “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with one of the global print industry’s leading print service providers, and will continue working closely with them to ensure they capitalise on all the benefits the Kodak Prosper 6000C Press delivers.”
